About URPC

Our Origin

Ultron Renewable Power Company (URPC) was established in 2023 as a Special Purpose Vehicle by Apsay Group and Star Hub Power to originate, structure, and implement renewable energy projects across Uganda and the broader East African region.
Recognizing the critical need for de-risked, investment-grade clean energy infrastructure, our founding shareholders created URPC as a dedicated platform to bridge the gap between capital availability and bankable project execution. We combine deep local market knowledge with international best practices in project development, financing, and operations.
URPC operates as an independent entity with professional governance, transparent processes, and a mandate to deliver measurable impact alongside financial returns.

Our Vision

To design, finance, and deliver bankable clean-energy infrastructure that de-risks power supply for industry, communities, and national grids across East Africa.
We achieve this by:

  • Deploying proven technologies with Tier-1 partners and rigorous quality standards
  • Ensuring long-term operational excellence through professional asset management
  • Engaging transparently with governments, communities, and stakeholders
  • Delivering measurable environmental, social, and economic impact

Our Mission

To evolve into East Africa’s leading regional platform for integrated renewable power, energy storage, and productive-use applications—powering sustainable industrial growth, agricultural value chains, and energy access.
We envision a future where:

  • Clean energy is the default choice for industrial and commercial enterprises
  • Rural communities access reliable power that enables economic opportunity
  • Energy infrastructure investments deliver competitive returns alongside development impact
  • Uganda and the region achieve energy security through diversified, locally-generated renewable capacity
