Ultron Renewable Power Company Ltd. (URPC)
URPC’s microproductivity offer targets a practical gap in the market: SMEs and micro-enterprises that can grow revenues and resilience materially with reliable power, but typically lack the capital structure and technical support to implement bankable systems. We deploy right-sized PV and hybrid PV+BESS solutions that prioritise uptime for revenue-critical loads, reduce diesel dependency, and enable measurable productivity uplift.
This section is distinct from “Agro-processing hubs” (cold storage, milling, large drying lines). Microproductivity focuses on small-scale productive use, light processing, and essential services at SME level.
• Small manufacturers and workshops (welding, fabrication, carpentry, block making micro-lines)
• Micro retail and service businesses (shops, salons, pharmacies, clinics)
• Market-based operators and trader clusters (lighting, security, refrigeration at micro scale)
• Water vending / community borehole operators
• SMEs with frequent outages affecting customers, stock integrity, and operating hours
Many SMEs can pay for energy as an operating expense but struggle with upfront capex. The core requirement is a solution that is right-sized, measurable, and easy to operate.
For SMEs, a few hours of outage can mean:
• cancelled orders and lost footfall
• spoiled stock (where refrigeration exists)
• increased security risk and shorter operating hours
SMEs often use small generators with poor fuel efficiency, high maintenance burden, and limited reliability.
We design systems around:
• essential circuits (lighting, POS, refrigeration, security, ICT)
• defined operating hours and peak windows
• realistic space constraints (roof, awning, small yard)
Where appropriate, URPC uses standardised micro-system templates (with configurable battery sizes and inverter classes) to reduce delivery time and cost, while maintaining safe protections and monitoring.
Even at small scale, predictable performance requires:
• basic remote monitoring
• preventive maintenance routines
• clear user training and simplified operating controls
• Micro retail resilience: lights + POS + CCTV + router + small fridge
• Workshop continuity: welding/fabrication support loads, tools, lighting, security
• Health/clinic resilience: lighting + cold-chain micro fridge + essential sockets + ICT
• Market-stall clusters: shared hybrid backbone with tenant metering logic (site-dependent)
(Exact sizing is determined by appliance list, hours-of-use, and available PV area.)
• Simple intake via calculator + rapid screening
• Indicative system sizing and cost band (PV-only vs hybrid)
• Installation with compliant protections and safe changeover logic
• Basic monitoring and performance verification
• After-sales maintenance plan and service escalation route
