Ultron Renewable Power Company Ltd. (URPC)
URPC supports a wide range of commercial users including offices, hotels, clinics, schools, warehouses, supermarkets, banks, shopping malls, and fuel stations. Systems are designed based on operating hours, reliability requirements, and business-critical loads.
We deliver:
• PV-only (where daytime consumption is the primary driver), and
• PV + BESS hybrid systems (where reliability, peak shaving, or outage coverage is required).
Where applicable, systems can include bidirectional metering for grid-interactive settlement and performance verification.
Commercial performance is driven by when energy is used, not only how much is used. We therefore capture:
• Opening/Closing hours
• Peak trading hours
• Refrigeration or IT loads that run 24/7
• Weekend/holiday operation
This improves sizing accuracy and the business case.
Minimum recommended inputs:
• Last 3 months electricity bills (or longer if available)
• Operating hours (by hour-of-day, not just “8–5”)
• Site address + Google Maps pin
• Photos of:
– Available PV space (roof/ground)
– The main electricity board / distribution board
• Generator details and diesel usage (if applicable)
Yes, If you select “using diesel/generator,” the calculator will estimate:
• Diesel contribution based on your outage profile
• Indicative diesel spend
• Savings from diesel displacement
This is refined after a site visit and generator runtime verification.
Yes, Where voltage fluctuation causes equipment stress and operational disruption, a well-designed hybrid system can improve:
• Voltage stability and power quality
• Uptime of refrigeration, POS systems, security, and IT
• Reduced unplanned downtime and asset wear
We quantify these benefits as part of the commercial proposal pack.
For relevant commercial deployments, URPC can implement prepaid mobile-money connected meters to support structured monthly payments and enforceable default controls (subject to contract terms and suitability).
Bidirectional meters separately measure grid import and grid export. They are used for:
• Accurate settlement and verification on hybrid systems
• Export measurement where approvals allow
• Performance reporting and auditability
Yes, where it improves economics or resilience. Grid-charging can be used to:
• Support peak management
• Reduce the PV capacity needed purely for battery charging
• Stabilize business-critical loads during outages
Controls are configured to match the site profile and compliance requirements.
URPC works with financing partners and can support lender-ready packaging. Initial screening may request:
• Ownership status (tenant/owner) and lease term
• Estimated annual turnover (range)
• Basic affordability indicators
Final financing assessment is completed after technical validation and site verification.
We accept submissions from owners, managers, or authorised staff. The calculator will capture the relationship to the business:
• Owner/Proprietor
• Manager
• Employee / Authorised Representative
We may request confirmation of authorisation before progressing to contracting.
Yes, We retain partial submissions and trigger automated follow-ups to complete missing fields. URPC agents may also call to support completion and schedule a site assessment.
URPC offers structured O&M including:
• Monitoring and fault ticketing
• Preventive maintenance and PV cleaning cadence
• Corrective maintenance under an SLA
• Monthly KPI reporting
Our standard approach is first 6 months free, then a paid O&M fee (typically 1–2% of system cost per year) billed monthly or annually, often via direct debit. For financed systems, O&M is mandatory for the tenor.
Timelines depend on size, access, approvals, and equipment lead times. URPC applies a structured delivery pathway: intake → assessment → design → procurement → installation → commissioning → O&M.
Indicative outputs include:
• Estimated current consumption and cost baseline
• Diesel contribution (if selected) and estimated diesel spend
• Recommended PV size and optional battery sizing
• Indicative installed cost (with/without battery)
• Indicative financing structures (10–30% client contribution scenarios)
• Payback period and lifetime savings estimates
All outputs are indicative until site verification.
Yes, We support portfolio assessments and consolidated reporting for:
• Retail chains
• Banks with multiple branches
• Fuel stations and forecourts
• Distributed office estates
Submitted bills, photos, and site information are handled under controlled access and used only for assessment and delivery planning. Data handling is aligned with Uganda’s data protection framework.
Submit the commercial calculator with bills and operating hours (hour-by-hour where possible). URPC will confirm next steps, validate eligibility, and schedule a site visit where required.
